Make a list…and plan ahead.

We all know making a list and checking it twice is a sure-fire way to make sure you have all your baubles in a row.
The key to a stress-free Christmas is careful planning. Start by making a to-do list and setting a budget. By spreading out your tasks over several weeks, you can avoid the last-minute rush and will prevent you from having to buy the Shell Service station gift voucher on the 24th of December.



Grab it when you see it.

This goes hand in hand with planning ahead.....We can’t express this enough, lists are great, but you need to act on these. Stock availability changes as quickly as the Kardashians change their nail colour. Thinking that you might grab it next time or will wait till December the 20th is a risky game.
These days, our suppliers are selling out of our favourite products before we have even had a chance to reorder.
To avoid resorting to a plan D, if you see something that you know is perfect for Uncle Gary – grab it there and then!



Nothing like the present…as in now.

Start early and work through your list a bit at a time. Not only does this make the whole process a less stressful, it can also spread out the cost of Christmas so that your bank account doesn’t feel like it’s a punching bag come December.



Be a savvy shopper.

Many small businesses offer convenient online shopping options where you dont need to put a bra on & leave the house!
If you are ordering online, make the most out of flat rate and free shipping. Do your homework and calculate who is going to give you the best deal, you can save yourself a lot of $$$ and time.
