Small Tin Nicho - Frida

A "Nicho" (meaning "niche") are small, hand-made tin boxes constructed to display lovingly crafted scenarios.

Traditional nichos are extensions of household altars, and depict patron saints or ancestors.  
They can act as shrines, protection, or devotional objects, and may be part of active religious practice

These Nicho's are handmade & painted in Mexico, have a hook for hanging & a hinged door.

Size: Approx 10 x 9.5cm
